"Vityaz 3" is the first distiller of a new generation on tri clamp connections with a one-piece mini-column. Improvements were made to the column construction, which made it possible to increase the speed and strength of the product.
The one-piece column with a diameter of 38 mm (1.5 inches) consists of a tube with a jacket reflux condenser (dephlegmator, tube in tube) and a shell-and-tube cooler. The 16 mm connecting tube allows the vapors to flow freely into the cooler.

An important advantage of the "Vityaz 3" column is the tri clamp connection. This allows to use additional equipment with the column (for example, a glass diopter, an additional tube (tsarga)). In the "Vityaz 3" column, the thermometer sleeve is located at the top. The thermometer can be rotated 360 degrees for easy temperature control.
The powerful shell-and-tube cooler performs its tasks effectively in all conditions. Also the cooler construction has 4 tubes, its efficiency is increased by 15 % compared to the previous version. The cooler is designed for distillation of large pruduct volume.
An external dephlegmator (jacketed reflux condenser) ensures a stable strength of the product throughout the distillation process. Ideal for work in strengthening mode. There is free space inside the tube for the Panchenkova grid. Using the Panchenkova grid increases efficiency by 15 %. Only a jacketed dephlegmator allows to completely fill the tube with filler.
Improved tank design - new features
The 25 liter tank with a domed lid is made of stainless steel. Thanks to the domed lid, the usable volume increases (the mash can be poured to the brim without fear of it getting into the distiller or cooler when boiling). In a tank with a domed lid, distillation become faster.
The tank is equipped with a safety valve that is activated when the pressure in it rises. In this case, excess vapor exits through the valve
The universal bottom made of ferromagnetic material allows you to use the device on any stove surface (gas, electric, ceramic, induction).
An digital thermometer will help to control the process. For its placed, a machined sleeve with a silicone cuff (manzhet) is provided. Thanks to this, is complete tightness and reliability of temperature indicators.

Separation of water flows (dephlegmator, cooler) allows you to connect cooling in different modes:

Potstill - fast distillation of wort.
- Place the column on the tank and put the device on the stove. Connect water only to the cooler (refrigerator).
- Start distilling. When the wort boils, hot alcohol vapors will pass through the tube into the shell-and-tube cooler and condense completely.

In this mode everything is simple. There is a wort that needs to be quickly distilled into raw-spirits. In this mode we check how good the cooler is.
