2" LIQUID SELECTION UNIT SK IN DIOPTER WITH AFTERCOOLER

SK - professional liquid selection unit with multi-point (9 jets) irrigation distribution, selection tap and aftercooler with inspection window.

The principle of operation of the “liquid” selection unit: condensate flows down the lid of the unit into the phlegm storage zone. Excess liquid flows down the irrigation tubes, which distribute the phlegm evenly over the entire nozzle area to increase the efficiency of heat and mass transfer in the column.

Advantage: The SK sampling unit with multi-point irrigation of the nozzle based on a shortened diopter (not just two thin flanges with glass!) minimizes the pre-wall effect. Multipoint (9 jets without pre-wall jets) distribution of phlegm over the nozzle surface increases this effect many times over, because each of the 9 jets immediately, independently of each other, enters into the heat and mass transfer process (but does not create a “puddle” effect on the nozzle, as in the case of a large number of jets). The mini-diopter on the aftercooler is necessary to prevent the “choking effect” of the sampling unit.
The SK sampling unit reduces the working height of the main tube (column) and provides aesthetic visualization of the process.

With the needle valve you can adjust the fluid withdrawal process. Adjusting the drop-by-drop extraction of the “heads” does not cause any difficulties.

The thermometer is located in the vapor zone, which makes it possible to accurately measure the vapor temperature without condensation and without temperature jumps.

Aftercooler with viewing window (mini-diopter).

Aftercooler with stainless steel valve, with collet connections for 8 mm tube, with mini-diopter, with couplings for 1/4″ quick release couplings.
Equipped with an internal built-in spiral for even water flow distribution.
The length from the tap to the drain of the product - 42 cm, which is enough for additional cooling of the product at the power of the deflegmator up to 4 kW.
