A sampling unit with multi-point nozzle irrigation, which minimises the wall-adjacent effect, and multi-point (22 jets, excluding wall-adjacent ones) distribution of the spray across the nozzle surface, which significantly increases its effectiveness, as each of the 22 jets immediately, independently of one another, enters the heat and mass transfer process (whilst not creating a ‘puddle’ effect on the packing, as is the case with a large number of jets), which has made it possible to reduce the working height of the main tube and provides an aesthetically pleasing visualisation of the process.
